A SUPERMARKET chain has launched an appeal against a Council’s decision to place conditions on a planning application approved in January.
Maldon District Council approved Lidl’s application to install two illuminated signs outside of their store in Station Road, Maldon.
However, conditions were put on the approval that stated the signs were only to be illuminated during business hours.
The store lodged an appeal against this decision on June 14.
The appeal will be determined on the basis of written representations from both sides.
