CLACTON Cannons missed out on a top-four promotion spot in division two of the Suffolk Senior League.
They finished on the same number of points as the team in fourth place, Essex University Blades.
However, due to the fact they lost to the Blades in October, they missed out on promotion when the first half of the season came to a close just before Christmas.
