THERE have been ins and outs at FC Clacton as they assemble their squad for the new Thurlow Nunn League season.

The Seasiders have brought in midfielder Jettluke Hogan, who is formerly of Isthmian League division north side Witham Town.

And goalkeeper ⁦‪Luke Avenell‬⁩ joins new arrival Charlie Durling in committing to the club for the season ahead.

However, midfielder Jack Clampin has left the Rush Green Bowl to re-join neighbours Stanway Rovers.

Clampin returned for his third spell with the Seasiders in 2018, having previously helped the club achieve their highest-ever step five finish in the 2015-16 campaign.

Since then he has played for both Stanway Rovers and Brantham Athletic.

FC Clacton will travel to Hoddesdon Town in the FA Cup extra preliminary round on Tuesday, September, 1

The winners will host Hullbridge Sports or Hadley in the preliminary round, 11 days later.

Tom Austin's side continued their pre-season preparations on Tuesday night with a 2-2 draw at Wivenhoe Town, at the MEC Stadium.

Tom Lakin and Tim Dennis scored the Wivenhoe goals but a late equaliser helped the Seasiders secure a draw.

FC Clacton also drew 2-2 with Little Oakley in another friendly, last weekend.

Clacton's Reserves were 4-0 winners at ⁦‪@DedhamOldBoysFC‬⁩ Reserves.
