FRINTON Lawn Tennis Club held their Mid-Summer Classic tournament.
With 52 players, the annual event proved a resounding success.
The format of three rounds of five games with no advantages, followed by a last round of seven games with advantages, kept the matches fast-paced and competitive.
Scores were recorded after every round, with extra points being awarded for aces.
The highest-placed at the end of the rounds were then put into a final match before the presentation of medals for winners and runners-up.
The overall winners for the men’s doubles included James Blackman and Kristian Fulcher, Nick Crown and David Wint and Matt Gough and Steve Kunzer. Runners-up included Bill Greeno and Jon Oates, Mel Lee and Richard Baldwin and Tony Vass and Michael Lockhart-Smith.
The ladies' doubles winners were Natalie Grover and Victoria Kunzer, with Clare Young and Sue Knight runners-up.
