CLACTON Golf Club's ladies played their Medal Three event and Liz Strutt was the winner, with a nett 70.
Julia Hewett was second, on 73, and Katy Yates third, on 76.
The Carol Finch Trophy was held in conjunction with this medal, being awarded to the player with the least number of putts in the round.
The winner was Denise Pink, with 26 putts overall.
Clacton's ladies' Bronze team travelled away to Romford, where they played on a challenging course with 365 bunkers.
There were some tough matches but the team lost 3½-1½.
Romford fielded an 11-year-old rising star in their team.
Clacton's juniors played a stableford competition.
James Wright came first, with 37 points, Milo Locke second, with 34, and Maxwell Robertson third, with 32.
