CLACTON Golf Club's ladies played for the Levermore Rose Bowl.

In first place was Charley Hatley, with a creditable +2.

Katy Yates came second, with -1, and in third was Ann Wright, on -3.

The ladies' bronze team played their second county match, at home to Playgolf Colchester.

They won by four games to one, with two matches going to the 17th and 18th holes.

Di Kedge played her Ida Bunting county match at home to a Stoke by Nayland opponent.

Unfortunately, she lost on the 18th hole, having to give 12 shots over the match.

Clacton's juniors played their May Medal.

Jay Foley won, going out in 38 and back in 42 with ten pars, beating James Wright by three shots and Harrison Dove by eight.

The senior committee members played for their 2019 trophy, away at Rushmere Golf Club.

Dave Needham won and was presented with the trophy by fellow committee member Jim Wiggam.
