COLCHESTER United fans are aiming to create a colourful scene of blue and white for this weekend's crunch home clash with MK Dons.

And they are appealing for help in their quest to make the South Stand as vibrant as possible for the crucial League Two fixture, at the JobServe Community Stadium.

John McGreal's head into the game two points adrift of the play-off places, with two games remaining and face a Dons side who themselves are striving to achieve automatic promotion.

The outcome of the match will go a long way to deciding the outcome of both clubs' seasons.

The BlueWhiteArmy (BWA) U's fans group have planned a big pre-match display to boost the club's players, as they go in search of a vital win.

They need people that will help them to set up and get involved with the display on the day by waving flags and holding up any overhead banners.

The BWA have set up a donation page to raise as much cash as possible to buy balloons, confetti cannons and streamers.

They also want as many supporters as possible to rip paper, magazines and newspapers into bags so that it can be used as confetti on the day.

The BWA will provide plenty of flags, banners and flags which will be put into position prior to the match.

They are looking for at least three or four people who are willing to wave the flags responsibly on matchday.

If the BWA raise enough money they may be able to extend a big surfer banner to cover most of the S1 Block in time for Saturday.

There will be overhead banners placed in both S1 and S2 and the BWA are hoping fans will play their part in holding them up when the teams come out onto the pitch.
