FC CLACTON have been forced to postpone tonight’s Thurlow Nunn League premier division clash at home to Haverhill Rovers.
The sides had been due to meet in a premier division contest at the Rush Green Bowl (kick-off 7.45pm).
However, the Seasiders say they have been left with no option but to call the game off because of ongoing issues with one of their floodlight pylons.
"Following floodlight problems last week, the replacement part was ordered and we were assured it would be here in time," read a club statement.
"Unfortunately, that has not been the case and we are left no alternative but to postpone tonight’s match.
"Our apologies to all concerned.
"We will be announcing plans soon that will finally resolve this."
A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
