BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent resume their push for a Bostik League premier division play-off spot tonight when Worthing make the long trip from Sussex to the Taydal Stadium.

The in-form R's have lost just one of their last ten matches - winning eight - and will be determined to build on Saturday's 2-0 success at home to Folkestone Invicta.

It was their fifth straight victory at the Taydal Stadium.

Their incredible run has driven them up the table, from the relegation zone to 11th place - just three points behind fifth-placed Merstham.

Worthing are the side directly above them, with both sides level on 38 points.

R's boss Tom Rothery has a full-strength squad available, apart from long-term absentee Morisi Gelashvili.

The Georgian powerhouse was expected to miss up to eight weeks after breaking a bone in his foot during Regent's recent 2-2 draw at Tonbridge Angels.

Skipper Matt Cripps took a knock at the weekend but should be OK.

Ninth-placed Enfield Town are also in action tonight, at title-chasing Dorking Wanderers, while eighth-place Tonbridge go to relegation-haunted Wingate and Finchley.
