THERE was joy on the road for FC Clacton in the Thurlow Nunn League premier division as the Seasiders had a 3-1 victory at Thetford Town.
A Jake Plane double and an Adam Hampson strike saw Tom Austin's side earn the three point haul that took them to 11th in the top-flight table.
In division one south, Harwich and Parkeston were involved in a high-scoring stalemate at Lopes Tavares.
Joe Knight fired home a brace for the Shrimpers and there was one apiece for Ryan Heath, Sean Gunn and Michael Hammond, but their scoring was matched by the hosts as the game ended in a 5-5 draw.
There was also a draw for Little Oakley in division one south as they shared the spoils with Hackney Wick.
Lewis Wood was on target twice to haul back a 2-0 deficit and ensure the game ended in a 2-2 draw for the Acorns.
Braintree Town Reserves were another side to draw in the league as they were held 0-0 at home by Benfleet, but there were 3-2 defeats for Brightlingsea Regent Reserves and Coggeshall United.
Both lost at home against Frenford and Hashtag United respectively.
