FRINTON Golf Club's men played for the Jon Holder Memorial Salver - an 18-hole singles stableford with a maximum handicap of 24.
Stuart Grimwade won with a very respectable 40 points.
Mark Smith was just behind him with 39 and, not to be outdone, Ian Smith took third on countback with 38.
In the Friday stableford, Simon Parkes did really well, winning with 42 points. There were four men on 39, with Hamish Stubbs awarded second place on countback ahead of Raymond Burkewood.
The ladies won the Yancy Cup this year. The event is an 18-hole matchplay competition.
The ladies beat the seniors and juniors combined.
