TWENTY hopefuls from Links Karate Kai took part in the EKKA National Championships.
There were gold medals for Abigail Hayes and Max Fennell, in the Kata. Lloyd Birch, Ethan Day, Maisie Raymond, Charlotte Hope, Hayes, Fennell, Harry Packford, Connie Raymond and Liam Hope then struck gold in the Individual Kumite.
Ishanie Kadambi and Luca Vertigen won silvers in the Kata, while Sam Day, Mitchell Thorpe, Lennie Lock, Kadambi, Maddox Tallowin, Rebecca Marshall won silvers in the Individual Kumite.
There were Individual Kumite bronzes for Summer Whittaker, Phillipa Dowton, Louie Fayik and Vertigen.
