BILLY Wales is back at FC Clacton.
And the home-grown talent, who emerged through the club’s youth ranks, has wasted no time in scoring goals for the Seasiders.
He netted in last weekend’s 5-2 victory at Hullbridge Sports, in a pre-season friendly, and followed it up with a brace in Tuesday’s amazing 5-4 success at Burnham Ramblers.
Mark Bailey and Steve Downes have also re-joined, but Tom Holdstock and Ricky Spriggs have signed for Heybridge Swifts.
Of Wales’ return, Clacton manager Glenn Eldridge said: “We’re delighted to have Billy back.
“We know what he’s capable of, from all his years at the club before joining Brightlingsea Regent.
“And he’s played in a more advanced role during the friendlies against Hullbridge and Burnham.
“It’s led to him scoring goals and we’re really hopeful that trend will continue.”
