CLACTON’S cricketers are hoping for a rain-free weekend.
The Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship division four leaders were scuppered by the weather when their match at St Margarets was cancelled, on Saturday.
Scott Facey’s side now hope to return to action this weekend, at home to struggling Great Bromley.
Frinton eased to a nine-wicket victory in their division one contest at Maldon.
