FC CLACTON ran out 5-0 winners in a friendly at Halstead Town on Tuesday.
Aaron Condon scored twice, in addition to goals from Tom Holdstock, Ray Knight and Lee Peacock.
The match had been arranged to give players minutes on the pitch, in light of so many games being cancelled due to the recent wet weather.
New signing Mark Bailey played all 90 minutes, having made his debut as a substitute in Saturday's Thurlow Nunn League defeat against Hadleigh United.
Kalon Harms and Harvey Cowler both stepped up from the reserves to play some part at Rosemary Lane.
