CLACTON Amateur Boxing Club attended a dinner show, at Colchester United’s Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Tony Sheen represented them in a derby against A Stewart, of Colchester’s Centurion ABC.
The Clacton boxer, in only his third bout, took on a much more experienced opponent.
Round one started with both exchanging punches and finished even.
Sheen took the centre of the ring in the second, leading off with fast, left jabs as his opponent advanced.
He caught his foe with left jabs, right crosses and body shots, shaking him badly.
Sheen clearly took the round.
In round three, both boxers started quickly, with lots of exchanges of punches.
Towards the end it got very untidy, but the end result was a points victory for the Clacton man.
