BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent had been due to visit Thurlow Nunn League premier division basement boys Woodbridge, on Saturday.
However, the Suffolk side’s pitch was deemed unplayable – much to the frustration of promotion-chasing Regent.
James Webster’s side have now played ten games less than leaders Hadleigh United.
“It was very disappointing,” said the Brightlingsea boss.
“On the plus side, my three main defenders were injured so not playing might have been a good thing.”
