CANNABIS "edibles" were found in a car parked behind a church.
The Castle Point Local Policing Team were called to reports of anti-social behaviour and drug dealing in Rushbottom Lane.
After reports of a certain vehicle causing issues in the road were made, the police managed to find a car matching the description behind the church in the road, understood to be St George's Church.
A spokesman for the police team said: "The occupants and vehicle were searched and a large quantity of 'cannabis edibles' were located.
"A nineteen year old man from Benfleet was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.

"Whilst in custody we conducted a searched of the man's property and further evidence of a fraud offence was seized.
"The man has been interviewed and released under investigation whilst we conduct further forensic enquiries.
"The seized items have been pictured so that you can see how 'innocent' these edible items can look, however they contain cannabis and as such are illegal."
