TWO casualties were rescued by firefighters following a serious crash in Benfleet.
Two fire crews were called to the scene in Kents Hill Road, Benfleet at 8.53pm tonight where they found a collision involving two cars.
A fire service spokesman said: "They stabilised the vehicles, freed two casualties by 9.23pm and left them in the care of the Ambulance Service."
