NO drivers were trapped in vehicles after a lorry flipped and crashed on the A127.

The road was completely closed on the eastbound carriageway yesterday after a crash involving two lorries and a car blocked the road shortly after 2.30pm.

The road was closed throughout the afternoon and evening, with traffic being diverted through Rayleigh Town Centre to avoid the blockage.
