TEN bags of drugs and a makeshift weapon were recovered in Southend.
The Southend proactive police team were carrying out patrols yesterday.
A man was searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act, and ten bags of cannabis were found.
Following enquiries police searched properties in the borough and found another half a kilogram of cannabis, a large amount of cash and a weapon.
The weapon was a wooden pole with nails strapped to the end.
Three men have been interviewed and have been released under investigation after being arrested for possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
