A CAR is on it's roof at Manners Way, in Southend.
The road is currently closed in both directions.
The crash, near Southend Airport, happened just moments ago.
Police have cordoned off the road between Thornford Gardens down to Hampton Gardens.
Traffic has come to a standstill around the neighbouring roads and bus services are being diverted, including the X30.
The crash is the second one to have occurred in the borough after a crash in Blenheim Chase, Leigh - which happened around the same time - also saw a car on it's roof.
Essex Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for comment.
