THREE men are due in court charged with robbery, attempted robbery and theft following incidents in Leigh and Westcliff.
Alexander Searle, 28, Jay Harvey, 18, and Harry Pavitt, 29, are all charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of attempted robbery and one of theft.
The alleged offences all took place on July 31, 2018, and involved people using mopeds to commit crime.
Searle, of no fixed address, is next due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Pavitt, of The Slades, Basildon, is due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on Tuesday February 28 and Harvey, of Wells Garden, Basildon, is next due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on Monday March 9.
