A LAWFORD based housing trust which aims to assist young people in becoming homeowners has announced applications for its new houses will open next week.
In October 2021, the Lawford Housing Enterprise Trust will have eight new two-bedroom semi-detached houses available for rent in Rose Fields, Lawford.
The trust works with young people and their aspirations towards independent living and becoming homeowners by providing good quality homes at affordable rents.
The available tenancy is for a maximum of five years, so the opportunity can be available to other young people on a rotational basis.
The rent required is £525 per month, including £100 per month which is returned to the tenant, as a lump sum, on the successful conclusion of their tenancy.
It is hoped with the low rent that tenants will be able to save towards their own home in the future.
Applications for the homes open from 5pm on Friday, June 18 and close July 18.
The application form is available on the website, via www.lhet.org.
