FOOTBALL-MAD youngsters showed off their skills and wowed special guest James Cleverly MP.
Mr Cleverly handed out medals after dropping in on the session in Earls Colne.
The Braintree MP said: "It was lovely to see the children and coaches enjoying the weather and football.
"Grassroots sport is so important for physical and mental health and I’m glad it’s back up and running."
The Saturday morning soccer school was run by Football Fun Days.
Owner Daniel Mather said: "We do presentations at the end of our blocks to celebrate the children’s efforts in training and highlight what football's all about - having fun.
"James came along and gave out some medals. It was fantastic and great to see him."
