TWO residents were found dead after police were called to an address in Leigh.
Officers were called by ambulance service colleagues due to concerns for the welfare of two people at an address in Tankerville Drive, Leigh, at about 9.55am on Saturday.
A man, aged in his 70s, and a woman, in her 60s, were both found dead.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We are investigating the circumstances surrounding their deaths and our enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made."
Police, including forensics officers, were spotted at the scene throughout most of Saturday, overnight and in to Sunday morning.

Essex Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
