Police are no longer looking for a man they wanted to speak to for breaching a court order.
A spokeman said a man was arrested yesterday.
Michael Cagehin, 35, of Harwich Road, Colchester, has been charged with three counts of breach of a restraining order and malicious communications.
He is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court today.
