An interactive map has shown how many people have died with Covid in each area of Maldon.

It allows you to see the number of deaths registered in the period March to December 2020, where Covid was the underlying (main) cause on the death certificate.

As local data is only available up to December, the numbers of deaths in the map will not reflect the latest trends.

The worst affected area in the Maldon area was South Woodham Ferrers South where 15 deaths have been recorded.

  • Great Totham, Wickham Bishops and Woodham – 5
  • Heybridge – 11
  • Danbury and Bicknacre – 2
  • Mayland, Althorne and Cold Norton – 6
  • Maldon North – 4
  • Maldon South – 3
  • Southminster, Bradwell and Dengie Peninsula – 7
  • Burnham-on-Crouch – 5
  • South Woodham Ferrers North – 6
  • South Woodham Ferrers South – 15
  • Tiptree - 11
