A MOTHER and daughter are lucky to be alive after a serious crash, their family says.
Two fire crews dragged the pair from the cars at the scene of the crash in Kents Hill Road, Benfleet at 8.53pm on Monday night after two cars crashed.
The worried father said they pair are lucky to be alive following the crash and he also raised safety concerns.
He said: “This evening nearly ruined all our lives. Thank goodness my wife and daughter are alive.
“I cannot thank the police force, ambulance and Fire Service enough. Something now needs to be done at this section of Kent’s Hill Road.”
A Fire Service spokesman said: “We stabilised the vehicles, freed two casualties by 9.23pm and left them in the care of the Ambulance Service.”
