A HOLIDAY park entertainer has created an online gameshow to beat the coronavirus lockdown blues.

Reece Lloyd, who had previously worked at Dovercourt Holiday Park, decided to provide entertainment during lockdown and created a virtual gameshow called Reece’s Know or Go.

The 19-year-old, from Chester, worked at the holiday park last year as an entertainer, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he had to be sent home from work.

He said: “I’m a holiday park entertainer, and game shows are one of my favourite parts of the job, so I thought I’d create on online quiz for contestants to join in, as well as for viewers to play along at home. The show is growing in popularity and has the interest of a lot of people.”

Jodie Hunt, of Ramsey Road, Dovercourt, took part in the game show, which was streamed on YouTube.

The 21-year-old entertainment manager, who had previously worked with Reece at the holiday park, said she had fun participating.

Jodie said: “It’s a great idea for lockdown as it keeps us all busy and cheerful especially those of us on our own.

“I actually won the quiz, which I’m very pleased about.

Reece is known for his fundraising efforts and promised to jump into a 6,473-litre pool of ice-cold water if his £700 target for NHS Charities Together is reached.

So far he has raised £600.
