Market Place in Braintree where the alleged incident happened
A MAN will appear in court in connection with a serious assault in Braintree.
Kian Steward, will appear at Colchester Magistrates Court after he was charged with Grievous Bodily Harm without intent.
It comes after a man in his 20s was allegedly assaulted while sitting in a car near to The Bull pub in Braintree town centre shortly after 2am on 31 August 2019.
Essex Police says a 23 year-old man was voluntarily interviewed about the incident last October.
Steward, of Albert Road, Braintree, will appear in court on Tuesday, March 10.
