A STUNNING display of winter flowers is set to draw the crowds to a country estate.

A carpet made up of tens of thousands of snowdrops will emerge from the ground in the woodland of Robins Grove at the Marks Hall Estate, near Coggeshall.

The snowdrop spectacular can be enjoyed throughout February, with a special rail running throughout half term.

Arboretum manager Ian Chandler said: “The arrival of these stunning white flowers is a welcome sight after a long cold winter and is always a sure sign that spring is on its way.

“We are incredibly lucky to be home to a large collection of snowdrops including several unusual varieties.

“Alongside the snowdrop display, visitors can enjoy woodland walks and explore the 200 acre arboretum, which includes a magnificent tree collection from all over the world.

“These produce a beautiful display that covers the ground in Robins Grove and attracts thousands of visitors every year.”

Entry is included in the attraction’s standard admission charge and there is a small charge to take part in the Snowdrop Trail.
