A FLOOD warning has been issued for residents of Mersea due to high tides and strong winds.
The areas said to be most at risk are the marshlands surrounding The Strood and water levels will be highest between 11.45am and 1.45pm today.
However waterside properties, including those in Shears Crescent, Coast Road, Seaview Holiday Park and Waldegraves Holiday Park are also at risk.
High tides are expected as spring rides coincide with a surge.
Residents are advised to take extra care on coastal roads and footpaths and never to put themselves at risk.
