THE RNLI has thanked artists for raising hundreds of pounds for their cause.

Burnham RNLI had their collection boxes and distinctive yellow wellies at the Burnham Art Trail.

The total raised from activities came to £623.

A lifeboat spokesman said: “The 15th Burnham Art Trail took place at the end of June, and once again the organisers asked those premises where artwork was displayed to support the Royal National Lifeboat Institution by having a collecting box on their premises.

“Many of the studios encouraged additional donations through other activities.

“We are very grateful to all the artists for contributing their handwork, to the shops and studios where the work was displayed and all the members of the public who contributed so generously to this total.”
