A MAN has been taken to hospital following a crash between two vehicles on the A133.
Emergency services were called to the scene following a crash between two vehicles close to the Heckford’s Road junction, Great Bentley, at around 1.30pm today.
Essex Fire Service said crews were called to the scene, but that no-one had been left trapped following the collision.
A spokesman for Essex Travel said there are “long delays” in both directions of the junction of the A133 and the A120.
A spokesman for East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called to the junction of A133 and Heckford's Road shortly before 1.10pm today following reports of a collision.
"An ambulance attended and crews treated a man at the scene before transporting him to Colchester Hospital for further assessment and care."
