A MAN was trapped in his car after a crash on a rural road this morning. (March 21)
Fire crews were called to the scene in Little London Hill, Finchingfield, at around 6.40am to help free the man.
Only one car was involved and he was released by 7.40am.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 6.34am with reports of a collision on the B1057 in Cornish Hall End.
"We sent the Hazardous Area Response Team, an ambulance and an ambulance officer.
"One patient was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital for further treatment."
