A MAN has been bannedfrom driving for a year for drug-driving.
Peter Waghorn, 27, was arrested at 5am on June 18 in Beaumont Hill, Great Dunmow by police on suspicion of drug-driving.
Waghorn, of Braintree Road, Great Bardfield, has now been convicted of the offence and has been disqualified from driving for 12 months.
He has also been ordered to take on 100 hours of unpaid work, pay costs of £85 and undertake rehabilitation work.
Waghorn was one of 205 people arrested during Essex Police's summer crackdown, dubbed #DriveSafeDriveSober.
The campaign highlighted how alcohol and drugs can impair your reactions when driving and have fatal consequences.
