Data from the Land Registry has revealed the most expensive and least expensive house sales in Colchester and the surrounding area in 2018.
Only last month people living in Colchester were named as some of the nosiest neighbours in the UK in a new study.
But it was not just the price of the house next door they were after, with data showing we are the third most likely to look at how much our own home is worth.

So we have had a look through the latest data from the Land Registry to find out which transactions topped the list.
Coming out on top was a home in Church Street, Kelvedon, which sold for £1,595,800 last year.
At the other end of the table the cheapest house sold was in Middleborough which went for £69,000.
