A MAN has been charged with burglary, robbery, possession of a knife and six counts of theft from shops following incidents in Clacton.
Paul Taylor, 44, of Waldegrave Way, Lawford, is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court today.
The charge follows reports of an attempted knife-point robbery in Hadleigh Road at around 4pm on Monday, April 16, and a burglary in Edith Road at around 12pm on Wednesday, April 18.
He was also charged with theft from businesses in Clacton.
Four thefts were reported over two days from February 19 and another two occurred on February 10 and August 21 last year.
