FIVE of the stand-up circuit’s top comedy acts are set to entertain laughter fans at Clacton’s West Cliff Theatre.
Keith – The Professional Yorkshireman – Platt tops tomorrow night’s bill.
A kind of northern Al Murray, he will be pontificating on how the world should be run.
Of course, everyone is entitled to their own view, so long as you remember you are wrong and he is right.
Russell Hicks has been hailed as one of the most exciting comics to come out of America, and was named one of the Top Six Comics to Watch by LA’s Stand Up Talk magazine.
Adam Jamal is a stand-up comedian from Toronto who has appeared on the David Letterman Show, where he impersonated being Oprah Winfrey’s scout.
Paul McMullan is a natural storyteller who takes audiences back to his times of misdemeanours, mishaps and those embarrassing moments most people prefer to forget.
The night is hosted by Debra-Jane Appelby, a no nonsense northern comic and FunnyWomen Comedy Award Winner.
There is adult humour, so be prepared for some risque jokes and occasional strong language.
