Newsquest Rewards can help you save hundreds every year- a must if you cannot resist browsing for bargains and discount codes online.

I used the Newsquest Rewards savings calculator and made a shocking discovery that I simply had to share with you.

Between making the most of the deals and discounts available, I worked out that I could save £800 a year.

From saving money on groceries and coffee shops to takeaways and beauty products.

On top of that, I scored savings across my shopping on home and garden items and travel costs too.

Have you tried the calculator yet? Here's how you can use it for yourself.

If you have used it, we'd love to hear from you - how much did you save?

How to use the Newsquest Rewards calculator – check your savings

Test out the Newsquest Rewards savings calculator via the Discounts page.

Enter the amount you spend on various goods and services per month, then click calculate.

Newsquest Rewards then estimates the amount you could save every year by regularly using your membership.

For example, many people could save up to 5% on groceries per shop or 20% on cinema tickets.

My total savings for the year by using the best deals and discounts on Newsquest Rewards from the likes Tesco, Asda, Costa and more came to £808.56 – pretty impressive.

Debbie Hellaby, brand marketing and compliance manager, said: "Now that we're in the colder months and the festive season has arrived, we know how important it is to make every penny count.

"That’s why we’re thrilled to see so many of you discovering just how much you can save with Reader Rewards — like the user who recently saved over £800 in a year using our savings calculator!"
