PEDLARS Wood Nature Reserve has reopened after being closed for several weeks for tree surgery.
The wood in Centreal Avenue, on the Frinton and Walton border, will again be welcoming local residents and schoolchildren to admire its beauty and the wildlife and birds.
Frinton resident Pam Garrad who owns the wood said, “Volunteers have been working very hard to put the wood in good order again, widening paths etc.”
Mrs Garrad says the nature reserve is 25 years old next year and so she hopes her open days on May 5 and 6 2012 will be extra special.
