A VOLUNTARY taxi service taking residents to medical appointments has a new contact number.
The hospital car service, run by Walton Community Care, takes people from Frinton, Walton and Kirby to appointments.
Volunteers can take people door to door and wait until the appointment has finished to make the return journey.
The service has been running for 30 years and last year took around 1,600 people to hospitals, dentists and doctors’ surgeries.
Any previous number for the group should be discarded.
