A DANCE is being held later this month to raise cash for this year’s poppy appeal.
The Clacton branch of the Royal British Legion is holding the event as it gears up for its biggest two weeks of the year.
The dance is at the Comrades Club in Old Road, Clacton, from 7.30pm on October 28.
Entertainment includes live music, a raffle, and a buffet, with all proceeds going to the poppy appeal.
Anyone wanting tickets should contact Jenny Inns on 01255 474968.
New members are also being sought for the branch, and relaxed rules mean members do not have to have served in the armed forces.
For more information on membership contact branch secretary Jamie Robinson on 01255 722062.
