LIBRARY opening hours are set to be slashed across Tendring when changes are brought in on July 4.
Libraries around Clacton, at the town centre, Bishops Park and Holland-on-Sea sites, will lose hours with the latter two being closed some days of the week.
Frinton and Walton libraries will also be closed on certain days of the week, while some afternoon openings are being moved to the morning.
Harwich library will be closed on Wednesdays and will have slightly shorter opening hours for the rest of the week.
Brightlingsea and Manningtree libraries’ opening hours remain virtually unchanged.
No library will be open on a Sunday across the district.
