BURGLARS broke into a Clacton home just before Christmas, making off with almost £1,000 worth of goods.
A pink laptop and a cash card and purse were stolen.
Jewellery including two rings, one engraved with ‘Mum’ and one with a large sapphire set into it with small diamonds around the outside were also taken.
The Oxford Road house was raided via the back door which had been left insecure, and a messy search was carried out by the raiders.
The burglary took place on December 22 between 4.30pm and 5.20pm.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
