ON October 19, Mr Hope came to tell us about New Zealand, also known by the Maori name of the Long White Cloud.
Mr Hope told members about the many years he had spent in the army in New Zealand, where he had met his wife. He enjoyed his time in that country and was sad to leave it. He took questions at the end and members found the evening very interesting.
The next meeting will be on November 16, when Pat Allen will help to make a Christmas table arrangement.
