Good Companions.
OVER 40 members attended the companion’s second AGM, held at the YMCA Hall on Jan 27. After being welcomed by chairperson Jean Pyle, the treasurer and the secretary gave their reports and then the committee, who were re-elected en bloc, were thanked for all their hard work.
Business concluded, Ron Pain gave a talk entitled ‘Beautiful Antartica’ accompanied by slides.
At the next meeting, on February 24, there will be a talk on ‘Mercy Ships’.
