Engains W.I.
AT the December meeting Mr Roberts from Thorpe gave a very entertaining talk about his life as a dairy farmer. And as this was a party evening guests from the other W.I’s in the Hundred Group had been invited to join us.
After an excellent buffet supper the prizes were presented for the annual competition. First was Janet Woods, second Gill Whiting and third Maureen Carter. This was followed by an hilarious quiz and a final session of carol singing. The next meeting will be on January 14 when John Drury will speak about historic treasures of Essex.
