LEGO has launched a recruitment drive for its first-ever Essex store at Lakeside Shopping Centre.
The new shop is due to open this autumn at West Thurrock, with LEGO now hiring part-time sales associates for the store.
It will be the brand's 23rd UK store and its first in Essex. The 217m2 unit will be on the centre's first floor.
While no opening date has yet been confirmed, it is expected to launch this autumn.
Applicants will greet customers, handle cash register duties and help provide a clean and safe shop environment.
They will also maintain displays, follow LEGO retail standards and work in the stockroom, including receiving deliveries and checking stock.
Staff will be expected to deal with customer issues and refer difficult situations to a manager.
The role includes customer engagement, using promotional materials and loyalty programmes, as well as routine operational tasks.
People whose work involves close contact with children must complete child safeguarding background screening before accepting an offer.
